Christopher Paul

Chris is a Registered Counselling Therapist (Candidate) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists who sees both individual clients (17+) and couples. He has a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and has training in various modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy among others. Chris uses elements from different modalities to try to create an experience for each client that is as unique as they are.

Chris is neurodivergent and uses that experience to inform his approach with neurodivergent clients in navigating mental health issues and life in general.

He also sees individuals for various mental health issues like depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues and life planning. With couples, Chris uses Emotional Focused Couples Therapy to help couples explore their attachment injuries and learn to heal together.
