Amanda Williams works with individual adults and older adolescents who are dealing with a variety of issues such as stress, anger, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. In addition to therapy, Amanda also offers psycho-educational and ADHD assessment services for children, adolescents, and adults.

Amanda draws strongly from a cognitive behavioural approach, but also incorporates techniques from other therapeutic frameworks into her work. Amanda strives to provide a safe, non-judgemental, and collaborative environment and tailors her therapeutic approach to each unique individual that she works with.

Amanda holds her MSc in Clinical Psychology from Acadia University. Before beginning her clinical work, Amanda completed her BA at Saint Francis Xavier University, along with two previous graduate degrees in Experimental Psychology at Dalhousie University. Her research interests include prosocial development in typically developing children and the effects of probiotics on symptoms of anxiety and ADHD in children and adolescents.
