Annie Perry

I work with individuals 19+ who are dealing with issues such as anxiety, burnout, depression, family of origin issues, phobias, stress, trauma, and life changes to name a few. I understand that everyone is unique and there is no “one size fits all” approach to effective therapy. I love to listen and am dedicated to creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where we can work together.

I hold my MSW in Clinical Social Work Practice from the University of Calgary. Before my clinical work I completed my Bachelors of Social Work at Dalhousie University and my Bachelors of Science in Psychology at Liberty University. I have training in a variety of therapeutic models including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). I enjoy learning and strive to stay current in evidence based approaches.

I  have had the great privilege of calling myself a social worker since 2018. I’ve previously worked in government for several years and in many capacities with families involved in the child welfare system. I have seen people on some of their hardest days: it is through such adversity that I have also witnessed incredible strength, resilience and growth.

I am so inspired by those that I work with: my clients are my greatest teachers, and I look forward to working collaboratively with you to meet your goals.
